The dunes are beautifully coloured in autumn. Follow the beach to the South past the harbour of Scheveningen and you will end up in the Westduinpark, a beautiful area where Scottish Highlanders roam freely. With Hotel ´t Sonnehuys as a base, you easily walk to beautiful nature areas like Scheveningse Bos (Scheveningen Forrest), Clingendael, the Haagse Bos (The Hague Forrest) and Klein Zwitserland (Little Switzerland). You can view many giants of art in the Kunstmuseum Den Haag (Art Museum The Hague), like Van Gogh, Monet and Mondriaan. If you prefer modern or contemporary art, the Museum Voorlinden is a big recommendation. If you prefer classic cars as a form of art, Louwman Museum is closeby as well.
